Omeo Gum Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus neglecta)
This round leafed Eucalyptus is one of the few that can survive a cold winter in Sedona. It is also almost 90% 1-8-cineole (AKA eucalyptol), making it a strong mucolytic, expectorant, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and airborne antimicrobial. Excellent diffused or as a steam inhalation. River Red Gum Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camadulensis)
These beautiful, old growth trees are located at Castle Hot Springs, in the foothills of the Wickenburg Mountains, in Arizona, and are fed by the mineral waters. This essential oil has considerable anitmicrobial activity, and is a well known cough remedy, expectorant, mucolytic, febrifuge, tonic, astringent and antiseptic. The aroma is sweet and well rounded.
