Spring News, 2017

Dear Friends and Family,

Returning to Jamaica! We will be closed April 2nd - 18th. All orders placed during this time will be processed upon returning home.

Clare will be returning to Jamaica, to continue working with Yerba Buena Farm on improving the efficiency of their distillation system and experimenting with more native and introduced plants. This project is funded by USAID and administered by Partners of the Americas. We are very grateful for all that they do. We have also connected with the faculty of the Pharmacy Department at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, who are conducting the International Dropsmith Project, a world-wide comparative study of aromatic plant chemistry. They are donating the GC/MS reports for all of the essential oils that we distill! This is truly an international effort.

Upcoming Aromatherapy Retreat in Sedona - May 2017

Clare in Antelope Canyon, AZ

We are also very excited to be offering a retreat this May, with the New York Institute of Aromatherapy!  This will be an immersion in the aromatic plant world, landscape, food and culture of the Southwest.  We will wildcraft, do several hydro and steam distillations, and discuss the therapeutic benefits of over 40 Southwest essential oils.  The entire program will be kicked off with a tour of Antelope Canyon, and be completed with a tour of Palatki World Heritage Site.  There are several spaces left, and we hope that some of you will join us!

About our Workshops

We offer public and private events, ranging from 1/2 day presentations, up to 4 day hands-on distillation workshops.

Private events can be tailored to meet the particular interests of your group or organization.

We also offer weekend apprenticeships.
