Aromatherapy Newsletter: Summer 2016
Dear Friends and Family,
Happy Summer Solstice!
This was a bountiful Spring, and we are very happy to be able to introduce Desert Lavender essential oil to our website. This plant is a blessing to the Sonoran Desert community. People, animals, insects, and the land itself, are all benefitted by its presence. We hope you will enjoy this desert treasure!

In early May, Clare traveled to Jamaica as part of a USAID funded, Partners of the America’s administered, Farmer-2-Farmer volunteer project, to teach a series of essential oil distillation workshops. The trainings were hosted by Kwao and Agape Adams of Yerba Buena Farm, which is located on the pristine North coast of the island. Over 120 people, from 12 of the 14 parishes attended. The enthusiasm was tremendous! There is a fantastic opportunity opening up for the Jamaicans to produce Artisan distilled essential oils. Read more...
Botanica 2016 is right around the corner! Well over 30 countries will be represented at this celebration of plant medicine. I (Clare) am being sponsored by Botanica, and the Aromahead Institute, to speak about the native essential oils of the American Southwest. I am greatly looking forward to this event, and I hope I will see many of you there.
P.S. Many Essential Oils are back in stock!
